Capping info:

- May 15 - MANDATORY capping practice will begin at 8:30 a.m. in the auditorium. Students should not make plans to work or leave before noon.

- May 16 - Capping ceremony – All seniors must be at the school by 5:00 p.m. Parents/guardians may get pictures taken on the stage with their junior from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. This is optional and the ONLY opportunity to get pictures. If interested, please sign up in SSA. NO ONE will be allowed to leave their seat to take pictures during the capping ceremony. A video will be available for purchase.


Graduation info:

May 18 at 9:00 a.m. - MANDATORY graduation practice
Seniors should not make any plans to work or leave before noon. Seniors should park in the student parking lots.

May 19 - Seniors must meet in the auditorium at 5:45 p.m. Graduation starts at 7:00 p.m.

Parents and guests should park in the school's student & faculty/staff lots or the Wee Care Park across from the school. Information regarding handicapped parking will be provided at a later date. No tickets are required if the ceremony is held on the football field. If it rains, students will get a limited number of tickets for the gym and overflow seating will be available in the auditorium (with a live feed of the ceremony).


Capping/graduation dress code:

- Guys – dark pants and dark shoes with a white collared shirt and dark tie or dark bow tie

- Girls – dress (must not show at the top when wearing the gown) and black or navy shoes. Heels or wedges are OK but NO FLIP FLOPS or SANDALS. All shoes must have a back strap. This prevents students from tripping while walking and on stage.

No extra cords, pins, or any other items may be worn unless they were handed out by a school administrator or guidance counselor. No loud jewelry will be allowed.
