Walton High School is excited to announce Mrs. Julie Lassiter as our 2022-2023 Teacher of the Year and Ms. Teresa Burks as our 2022-2023 ESP of the Year!
Mrs. Lassiter has been a teacher for 19 years with experience at all grade levels (PK-12th). She joined WHS as a biology teacher during the 2021-22 school year with amazing results. She was chosen by her peers for this honor for her dedication to her students and her contributions as a team member to her department & the school as a whole. She enjoys spending time with her family, going to the beach, hiking, camping, and visiting unusual places.
Ms. Burks is an integral part of our lunchroom team and Braves Family. She humby serves our students & staff with a smile each day, all the while exuding positivity, compassion, and grace. She has served Walton High School for 22 years. Ms. Burks enjoys going to church, spending time with family, shopping, and traveling.
