2nd graders at West DeFuniak Elementary participated in planting potatoes in a grade level garden. The students were able to individually plant their own potatoes. Students learned that potatoes are usually planted first in a spring garden and what the criteria is for planting potatoes. The students had a blast working in the garden and getting a little dirty! Students are excited to see how well their plants will grow in their garden this year.  Submitted by Jessica Dawkins

Congratulations to the Paxtn Bobcats. After their 57-52 victory against Graceville, they are headed to the state tournament in Lakeland. Good luck, Bobcats!

NWFSC Career Planning Services visited Ms. Lyday's classes to match the students' personalities to the professions best suited for them.  Ms. DiCesare's juniors were also able to participate and access this valuable resource to help them plan for their future in college and beyond.  Submitted by Patty Woodard
