Zach Giuliano, a Bay Elementary 4th grader, wins the 23rd annual Tom Dorsey Winter Golf Classic by 13 strokes. Zach shot a 74 to win. This qualifies him for a spot in the Downing Gray Cup Junior Golf Championship. Submitted by Cindy Stewart.

Mr. Hughes visited with Maude Saunders' tutors and paraprofessionals during their recent Visualizing and Verbalizing training.
Submitted by Brianna Leavins.Superintendent Russell Hughes is shown collaborating with a group of Mossy Head School teachers during Tuesday’s Professional Learning Day. Mossy Head School and West DeFuniak Elementary teachers attended “Instructional Strategies for ALL Learners” with teacher and author Jodi O’Meara. Teachers learned new strategies for implementing differentiated instruction within the classroom and planning instruction with intentionality to build conceptual understanding. The day provided the two schools an additional opportunity to collaborate and share instructional practices to meet students’ needs. Submitted by Elizabeth Gaither.
