Third grade students at West DeFuniak Elementary learned about watershed and the importance of smooth cord grass absorbing pollutants and protecting our local waters. West DeFuniak Elementary’s Hat Day fundraiser was a success! All proceeds go to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The Pennies for Patients campaign runs through the end of November and students are working toward a school goal of $2,000.00. Submitted by Jessica Dawkins.
At the November 15, 2016, Regular School Board Meeting a representative from EMI Elliot Marshal Innes, Mr. Brad Innes, AIA President/Principal, presented Superintendent Carlene Anderson and Board Member Mark Davis with an artwork collage of building projects that have been developed over the last 15-20 years for Walton County School District.
