Superhero Day
November 4, 2014
Paxton, Fla.--Get your run or walk on and help send deserving students to college at the first annual Jingle Bell 5K to be held at Paxton School Saturday, December 6. The “cross country” style run/walk will begin at 9 a.m. and will include prizes for first place in each run and walk age category.
In addition, kick the season off right by wearing a “jingle bell” themed costume to be entered for a chance to win prizes for the top three costumes. The cost for entry is $25, with all proceeds going to benefit scholarships for members of the school’s AVID program, a unique program designed to help prepare all students for college readiness. The first 50 participants registered will receive a free t-shirt.
Participants may pre-register for the event at www.active.com. Registration forms are also available for pick-up at Paxton School, Dr. Chuck Stevenson’s office in DeFuniak Springs, FL or at Ranch House in Florala, Alabama.
