Who needs school when there’s snow?! Even though classes were canceled, some of our amazing little Bulldogs still made their way to Freeport Middle School to enjoy the rare sight of a winter wonderland. We miss seeing all our students’ smiling faces in the halls, but this little surprise visit reminds us how much we love our #FMSBulldogs! Stay safe, stay warm, and have fun in the snow! ⚾️🥎 Baseball and Softball Tryouts Update 🥎⚾️ Due to school closure for weather, tryouts have been moved to Thursday. • Time: 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM • Softball: Sports Complex • Baseball: Old FMS Baseball Field Make sure to bring all necessary equipment and arrive on time. After collaborating with local and state weather experts, the Walton County School District has made the decision to close schools on both Tuesday and Wednesday, January 21 and 22 due to a Winter Storm. The closure includes students and employees as well as SPICE and extra curricular activities. Walton may begin to see precipitation to include ice on Tuesday afternoon which will make it unsafe for school buses to be on roads and bridges. Wednesday may continue to see freezing temperatures which may keep ice on the roadways. We will continue to monitor the weather, as safety is always our number one priority. At this time, we expect to be back at school on Thursday, January 23. Stay safe, and continue to stay engaged with your schools and our online platforms for more information.

🎉🐾 On Friday, we celebrated the hard work and positive behavior of our amazing students from the first semester with a PBIS-Sponsored Fun Day! 🐾🎉 Our Bulldogs had a blast enjoying various game rotations and tasty concessions. This event was a fantastic way to recognize their dedication to modeling what it means to be a model middle school—showing respect, responsibility, and school pride every day. 💪👏 Thank you to everyone who helped make this day possible—our staff, volunteers, and students who continue to make #FMSBulldogs the best! This past Friday, we held our first pep rally in our brand-new gym, and it was a day to remember! We proudly recognized all of our fall sports teams – girls and boys basketball, boys and girls soccer, and our Academic Team – for their hard work and dedication. We also celebrated an incredible academic achievement. Ms. Infinger kept her promise to drink a nasty concoction if last year's 7th graders scored above 80% proficiency on their Civics EOC. Not only did they meet the challenge, but they crushed it with over 90% proficiency! The students had a blast watching her follow through on her pledge. It was an amazing day of celebrating success, teamwork, and Bulldog pride. Way to go, FMS! 🐾🎉 #FMSBulldogs
