Homecoming Week is this week (September 27-October 1)!  See the graphics and information below for details regarding the week's events.  Remember that dress-up days must follow the school dress code.
 
- Parents may attend float building activities Monday-Wednesday.
- Parents will be also be able to attend the hall decorating and tailgate party on Thursday.  Parents will be required to complete a health screening prior to entering the building in order to participate in hall decorating.
- Parents will be able to attend the Powder Puff game at 2:55 on Thursday, as well.  We will be following our activity bell schedule (see below) on this day.  All visitors must enter through the visitor's entrance and sit on the visitor's side of the stadium. Parking will be available in the student parking lot.  Parents will be required to pay the $2 entrance fee.
- Parents will also be able to attend the pep rally on Friday from 10:25 to 11:25.  We'll have seating specifically for parents in the end zone. Parents should enter the field through the football ticket box entrance.
- Please note that Friday is an early release day for Walton High.  Students will be dismissed at 11:25.  The bell schedule is below.
- The parade will start at 2:30 on Friday.  All participants should be lined up by 2:00.
- Presentation of the homecoming court will begin on Friday at 6:30 p.m., and the king and queen will be announced immediately following the presentation.
- Our Homecoming football game against Rutherford will begin after the king and queen have been announced (at approximately 7:00 p.m.)
- Tickets for the Homecoming dance cost $10 and are available for purchase during lunches.  The dance will be held from 9:00 to 11:00 at Walton High. Dresses must be at least fingertip length.  Midriffs should NOT be exposed.  This includes both the front and sides.  Dresses may be strapless or include spaghetti straps.  Excessive cleavage is not allowed.

Anyone interested in participating in the Homecoming parade scheduled for Oct. 1 should contact Capri Zodrow (via email at [email protected] or via text to 850-830-1035).  There is a $10 entry fee (payable to WHS Student Council) to help cover expenses during Homecoming week.  Participants may leave their name and contact information, organization they're associated with, and the $10 entry fee with the front office at WHS.  Participants will be contacted on Thursday, Sept. 30, with their parade number.
