Based on recent weather data from Walton County Emergency Management and local weather authorities, all Walton County Schools will have a three-hour delayed start on Friday, May 10. Due to this delay, there will be no Pre-K at any school on Friday, May 10.
The three-hour delay includes all students and employees. Bus schedules will also run on a three-hour delay. For example, if your student’s bus typically arrives at 7 am, their pick-up time will be 10 am. School dismissal times will run as normal and end-of-day transportation schedules will be unchanged.
Walton High School's start time will be 11:15 a.m.on Friday, May 10. Release time will still be at 3:25 p.m. Senior Day will begin at 11:15 a.m. Seniors should report to the auditorium promptly at 11:15 for Senior Day and important information.
If seniors have a power outage or damage, please let Ms. Leavins know. Senior Day will only last a couple of hours.
