The Matrix Community Outreach Center has organized a relief drive for those in Florida that were impacted by Hurricane Helene. Walton High's FFA chapter is assisting Matrix with this drive and will be collecting non-perishable items through Monday, October 7. Needed items include cleaning supplies; ready-to-eat food; pet food and supplies; batteries; flashlights; tarps; and water.
Donations may also be dropped off from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Matrix's drop-off location (Triangle Chevrolet).
