The Walton High School Leadership Speech & Debate team concluded the 2024 season with outstanding achievements! Asher Sawyer earned 3rd place in Legislative Debate, and Addison Hillis secured 2nd place in Impromptu Speaking.
These accomplishments are a testament to the dedication and skill of our students. During their trip to Tallahassee for the competition, the team had the privilege of meeting John Duebel, Director of the Florida Civics and Debate Initiative. We are incredibly proud of their hard work and success, and we look forward to their continued excellence at the National Civics Debate Championship in January.
