Our FFA Vegetable Evaluation team competed at the state contest in Kissimmee yesterday. Team members include Jacob Poole, Hayden Arnold, Carleigh Davis, and Marlie Cortes. The Vegetable Evaluation Career Development Event is designed to test students' skills and knowledge in the area of vegetable production and management. Students must evaluate classes of vegetables, as well as identify kinds & varieties of vegetables, insects, diseases, weeds, and seeds.
Our team studied during Thanksgiving break to prepare for this contest. After many hours of preparation, our team placed 10th in the entire state! We're so proud of the hard work and dedication this group of students has displayed through this contest.
