Dear Walton High School Families,

What an incredible first day! Today was truly one of the best first days I have experienced as a principal. Our students arrived excited to be back, treated one another and our staff with respect, and brought such positive energy into their classrooms. It was a wonderful way to begin the school year!

As we settle into our routines, please remember that students may submit schedule change requests during lunch this week. Both guidance counselors and members of our administration will be available inside the cafeteria during all three lunches to answer questions and assist students.

Most importantly, I want to thank you. The kindness, respect, and enthusiasm we saw from our students today are a reflection of the incredible job you are doing at home. We recognize that raising great kids takes love, patience, consistency, and a great deal of hard work—and we are so grateful to partner with you.

Thank you for trusting us with your children. We are excited about the year ahead and could not have asked for a better first day!
